I am a trained translator and an experienced proofreader, editor and copywriter in multiple languages.

I work with a large variety of text types. Whether you are publishing a brochure, a website, a newsletter, a magazine or a blog, I can assist you. Are you planning an ad for your product or service or are you working on a book or catalog? Then I might be the right person to work with.

Work experience and education

 

2016 - 2020

For almost five years I worked as a proofreader and press correspondent within the media group Saint-Paul Luxembourg - Luxemburger Wort. This job allowed me to deepen my grammatical and orthographic skills in German, French and most importantly in Luxembourgish and gain practical experience in writing and editing for a major press publisher. Working for the largest daily newspaper in Luxembourg also gave me the chance to develop my problem solving as well as my organisational skills and my ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without neglecting my careful attention to detail.

 

2015

 

I had the opportunity to begin my career as an editorial assistant within a creative and motivated team at the Museum of Modern Art in Luxembourg City. In this role, I actively took part in the production of catalogues, brochures, website content etc, allowing me to deliver projects in both a team and autonomously. This job provided valuable experience in a variety of different fields such as advertising, layout design and relationship management for clients & professionals.

 

2010 - 2014

 

My advanced studies of transcultural communication in Vienna, have allowed me to enhance my linguistic and editorial skills, as well as my ability to facilitate communication between people from different (sub)cultures and language areas.
