Mudam
Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean
Working as an editorial assistant at The Contemporary Art Museum of Luxembourg was my first professional experience…
and the one that shaped me the most.
My work at Mudam remains without a doubt the most valuable professional experience for me to this day. It was my first job after university and I couldn't have asked for a better institution or team. My supervisor and coworkers treated me like an equal from the very beginning, even though I had just finished university and had almost no work experience. They always took the time to answer every single one of my questions and involved me in all the different work areas and processes.
The tasks were varied and exciting. Exhibition catalogs, brochures and flyers had to be prepared, content had to be written, translated and proofread. I coordinated brochures, flyers and pamphlets and was even integrated when it came to layout design. I am convinced this job experience paved my way to where I am now and I am incredibly thankful to everyone involved.
I assisted the head of the editorial department with the coordination of the French and English version of the exhibition catalog for Eppur si muove,
I also coordinated and proofread the brochures, flyers and Mudam agendas announcing the different exhibitions, events and workshops at the museum.
I was a research assistant for the book On things as ideas by Robert Stadler and Alexis Vaillant.
